Founded in 2000, Meera Foundation focuses on protecting children and empowering women through rights-based, community-driven development initiatives. The organization works across child protection, health, nutrition, HIV/AIDS, TB control, sanitation, and family welfare. Meera adopts inclusive and sustainable approaches that strengthen families and community institutions. Guided by values of equality, integrity, and compassion, the foundation collaborates with government departments, networks, and international partners. Over the years, Meera has impacted thousands of vulnerable children, adolescents, and women. Its programs promote dignity, resilience, and long-term social change across Madurai, Dindigul, and Perambalur districts of Tamil Nadu.
